Our journey so far

Our team is led by Dr. Carlos Munoz, who has spent his academic career at the University of California, San Diego, focusing on developing effective hemoglobin-based treatments. Dr. Munoz is joined by his co-founder Mr. Christopher Caballero, Mr. Caballero, a former Army Captain, has led and developed functional, effective teams across international borders and navigated complex supply chains for mission-critical objectives.

Mr. Caballero, a graduate of the United States Military Academy with a degree in Engineering Management, served as a Logistics Officer for six years. Mr Caballero is driving the company’s operations.

ReBlood Rx’s advisory team consists of Pedro Cabrales, PhD, Mark Hughes, DVM, MS, and Ivan Pires, PhD. All bring years of experience dealing with optimizing hemoglobin based solutions for emergency medicine, creating successful regulatory strategies, and synthesizing lean and effective manufacturing processes for hemoglobin based solutions.

Dr. Munoz brings valuable experience leading and developing creative and effective business and technical strategies that have helped other ventures secure dilutive and non-dilutive sources of funding. Dr Munoz is driving the product development strategy for ReBlood Rx.

The team is supported by additional advisors from across the United States from different institutions and private companies from California, Texas, Boston, Alabama, Tennessee, New York, Indiana, Ohio, and Virgina.
